UC Irvine's Department of Plastic Surgery provides state-of-the art, high quality plastic surgery care, education and research.

Our faculty members are committed to serving their patients, the community and to advance the field of plastic surgery. They are also dedicated to training the most skilled plastic surgeons of the future.

Our residency program helps physicians successfully complete their certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Our faculty members are consistently striving to increase our understanding of the human body, with a special emphasis on investigating novel ways to replace damaged tissue. Through research work at our Center for Tissue Engineering, our surgeons are able to use biological substitutes to restore or reestablish damaged tissues.
